I get so annoyed when my parents ask to hang around waiting on the cable guy, plumber, tree service, or whoever.

But today was different from all the other times.

How else was I going to get you in there?
But I wish you’d asked if the one in my parents bedroom was working; you and I in their bed.
That would have served them right.
